Who We Are

MC2 Charter School is a free public school that provides the conditions that enable each individual to become empowered with the knowledge and skills to use his or her voice effectively and with integrity in co-creating our public global world.

We seek to uncover, recover, and discover the unique gifts and talents each individual brings to school every day.

Interested in attending? This one-page overview describes what makes MC2 stand out.

There are many ways you can get involved:

Our Design

Learner-centered— We know who our learners are and help them understand their learning strengths and needs, while working together to develop effective learning strategies.

Knowledge-centered— We focus on learning for understanding and sense-making, ensuring our learners are well prepared for adult life, career, and college.

Assessment-centered— We use a variety of ongoing assessments to provide learners with frequent feedback and information.

Community-centered— We believe young people learn best in community, so we partner with learners’ families in making decisions about learning goals, and we connect our learners with experts outside the school.
